About Move & More
Move & More is a family-owned removals business based in Surrey, run personally by Clare and Adam. Unlike large national firms, when you contact us you deal directly with the owners from start to finish — no call centres, no handoffs. We serve Surrey, Sussex, South London and nationwide.
Yes, absolutely. We carry full goods-in-transit and public liability insurance, so your belongings are protected throughout every stage of the move. We’re happy to discuss the details of our cover if you’d like to know more before booking.
We’re proud of our reviews on Checkatrade, where customers consistently highlight our care, reliability and friendly approach. We’d encourage you to take a look before getting in touch.
Getting a Quote
We offer three ways to quote your move — an in-person visit where Clare or Adam comes to walk round your property, a WhatsApp video call where you show us around, or you can send us a video of your home at a time that suits you. We’ll then come back to you with a clear, no-obligation quote.
We’d recommend getting in touch as early as possible — popular moving dates, especially Fridays and end-of-month dates, can book up quickly. That said, we always do our best to accommodate shorter notice where we can, so it’s always worth asking even if your move is coming up soon.
None at all. We’ll have a friendly conversation about your move, provide a clear quote, and leave you to decide in your own time. There’s no pressure from us.
On Moving Day
We’ll agree a start time with you in advance. We’re punctual and will keep you updated if anything changes. For most moves we aim to start early to give plenty of time, particularly for larger properties or longer journeys.
We use protective coverings for all furniture and wrap items appropriately before they’re moved. We also use floor protection in your home to avoid any marks or scuffs. Fragile and valuable items are given particular attention and packed with care.
Life happens — we understand that moving dates can shift, especially when chains are involved. Just let us know as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to accommodate the change.
It’s helpful if you or a trusted representative can be there, particularly at the start and end of the move to go through the property and confirm everything is in order. We can discuss your specific situation when you get in touch.
Packing
Yes — we offer both full and part packing services. Our packing team is a unique three-generation all-female group who are experienced, thorough and take great care with your belongings. Whether you’d like us to pack everything or just the fragile and valuable items, we can tailor the service to suit you.
No — if you’re using our packing service, we supply all the materials including boxes, wrapping, tape and specialist coverings. We use high-quality materials throughout to make sure everything arrives safely.
Storage
Yes. We provide secure short and long-term storage solutions, which can be particularly useful if there’s a gap between leaving your current home and moving into the new one. Storage can be arranged as part of your move or separately — just ask when you get in touch.
We handle collection and delivery ourselves, so your belongings are in familiar, trusted hands throughout. We’ll agree timing with you and make sure everything is handled with the same care as on moving day.
Chains & Logistics
Moving in a chain can mean your date changes at short notice, which we understand can be stressful. We work with you to stay as flexible as possible and will do our best to accommodate changes when they arise. It’s one of the reasons we’d always recommend getting in touch early, so we have the best chance of keeping your preferred date available.
